ANNOUNCEMENT: 2025-2026 CALL FOR PROPOSALS IS A SARCOMA EXCLUSIVE CALL

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is thrilled to announce that its 2025-2026 call for proposals is a sarcoma exclusive call.
Sarcomas are among the leading causes of cancer-related death in children—typically ranking second or third. Despite this burden, treatments for most sarcomas have seen little to no significant improvement over the past 40 years. To address these urgent unmet needs, the FIGHT KIDS CANCER Programme Committee has dedicated the 2025–2026 Call exclusively to paediatric bone or soft tissue sarcomas.

The 2026-2027 Call will again be open to all types of paediatric cancers.

Following the success of last year’s call, this sarcoma exclusive call will continue to give more flexibility to the applying teams. Thus, the possible amount available and duration per grant application will be the following:

For clinical trials:

  •  Up to 5 years
  • Up to 5 million euros

For a clinical trial preparation grants:

  • Up to 2 years
  • Up to 0.25 million euros

For translation research projects:
